Bandipur Mini Great Wall - Mani Mukundeshori Foot Trail
Bandipur Mini Great Wall or Mani Mukundeshor Foot Trail (official) has been constructed to promote the tourism of Bandipur and make it an extra source of revenue to the Bandipur Rural Municipality.
This “Mini Great Wall of Bandipur” gives a glimpse of The Great Wall of China and is getting attractions from people all around the country.
The construction of “Bandipurs Mini Great Wall” has also helped in local youth employment and the municipality is also planning to train the youths to ride horses on the trail, according to chairman Purna Thapa.
According to the chief administrative office, the number of tourists has also increased after the construction of the “Mini Great Wall” in Bandipur and is planning to build walls, parks, coffee shops, hotels and other structures under the multi-year program.

Mini Great Wall is located at Bandipur, Tanahun which starts from Thanimai Temple at Bandipur Gaunpalika-2 and ends at Mukundeshwori hill, the place once ruled by the then King Mukunda Sen.

How to reach Bandipur Mini Great Wall?
To reach Bandipur Mini Great wall, first you will have to reach Dumre Bazar (Prithivi Highway). From there, it’s just 9KM to reach Bandipur and you can take public buses or shared taxis or on your own vehicle to reach there.
Then, from Bandipur Bus Station, you will have to take a right turn (off road), to reach the end of the Mini Great Wall near Mukundeshwori hill. Or you can climb the Thanimai hill first, then climb down the Mini Great Wall trail.
